GCF is leading a $70,000 fundraising effort to bring sunshade structures to Wildwood Park, and the campaign is off to a strong start thanks to a generous lead gift from the Crane Family. To further accelerate progress, the Granville Kiwanis Club has pledged to match up to $10,000 in additional donations—doubling the impact of community giving.

Help Shade Wildwood Park

A community investment led by GCF

The Granville Community Foundation (GCF) is inviting the community to come together to enhance Wildwood Park by funding new sunshade structures for the playground—an improvement that will make the space safer, more comfortable, and more accessible for families throughout the year.

This initiative complements an important safety project already underway. The Granville Recreation District (GRD) is replacing the playground’s safety surface with a durable new material similar to the recently installed surface at Granville Intermediate School, significantly improving safety for children at play. With this essential update in progress, the community now has an opportunity to build on that investment by adding shade where it is most needed.

Together, our community can help ensure Wildwood Park is a safer, cooler, and more welcoming place for everyone.
