A Tradition of Community
2026 Picnic Date: Saturday, August 15th
The Great Granville Picnic is a deeply rooted community tradition, first held in Granville as early as the 1880s. Over time, it became a gathering point for neighbors — a place to connect, celebrate, and enjoy summer together in the heart of the Village. Today, the Granville Community Foundation is honored to lead its revival, bringing this iconic event back to strengthen bonds across our town. Through this revival, we aim both to honor Granville’s heritage and to foster new, genuine community connections.
