Dave Ball Joins GCF Board of Directors

The Granville Community Foundation is pleased to announce that David T. Ball has joined its Board of Directors as of November 1.

Dr. Ball is the co-founder of Rosenberg & Ball, Co. LPA, where he works as an attorney with a focus on representation of religious and nonprofit organizations. Prior to founding Rosenberg & Ball, he practiced with Schottenstein, Zox & Dunn in Columbus, the Ohio Legal Assistance Foundation and Farella, Braun & Martel in San Francisco.

Dr. Ball moved to Granville in 1996 to serve as Director of Religious Life and the John W. Alford Center for Service-Learning at Denison University. He is an adjunct professor at Ohio State University’s Moritz College of Law, teaching nonprofit law and law and religion. “We are excited to have Dave join our Board,” said Angela Katona, President of the Granville Community Foundation Board of Directors. “His skills and experience will be a great asset to the Foundation and help to connect us to many new opportunities in the community.”

Dave has served on a number of Boards including the Granville Area Chamber of Commerce, Newark-Granville Symphony Orchestra and the Licking County Coalition for Housing. He is married to Kim Keethler Ball, the owner of Readers’ Garden Bookstore. Dave and Kim live in Granville and have four adult children.

The Granville Community Foundation also wishes to thank Lew Mollica for his service to the Board. Lew recently completed a three-year term as a member of the Board of Directors for the Foundation.  Lew was active on both the Development and Nominating Committees. “Lew is a pillar of our community, and we are grateful for the time and talent he shared with our community,” said  Angela Katona. “His presence will be greatly missed!”

THANK YOU to Dave and Lew for their dedication to our community and the Granville Community Foundation.
